Sun 8 January 2012, 6pm Mass Catechetical Sunday and Feast of the Epiphany.
Theme for Catechetical Sunday 2012 is "Do This in Memory of me." (Lk 22:19).
The theme draws its inspiration from the promulgation of the 3rd edition of the Roman Missal. We want to affirm that all of our catechetical efforts must lead the faithful `to that full conscious and active participation in liturgical celebrations`.
Please do read the letter, reflect on it and prepare your hearts for the Commissioning Mass. During the Mass, Fr Philip Heng,SJ (Parish Priest) invites all Catechists, Facilitators, Coordinators, Leading Little Ones to Church, Liturgy of the Word for Children, CGS, CCD and those involved in Catechetic to come forward . Please respond with gusto accordingly. |

WEEK OF IGNATIAN GUIDED PRAYER
Non-residential prayer retreat conducted by Sojourners' Companions
(Prayer Guides) from 17-23 July 2011
Come to Taster afternoon - 17 July from 2-5 pm
Prayer is the only significant way we can communicate with God. In order to really develop a deeper relationship with Him we need to pray on the Scriptures to know what He is telling us, and more importantly what He Wills of us. Through Prayer we learn to listen, understand and experience God's Love for us.
Participants are guided on a one-to-one basis with a personal prayer guide. Commitment is 1 hour of prayer time at home and half-hour sessions with a prayer guide for 5 days |
